January 5 - Bird Day
In cold climates, the ground is hard in winter, making it difficult for birds to get enough food.
Create a simple "cereal necklace" to feed the birds. String some unsweetened cereal on about two feet of string or yarn. Tie the ends together and hang it on the branch of a tree. Enjoy watching your feathered guests dining.
