In "Around the World in 80 Days", on October 2, Phileas Foggs took a bet that he could travel around the world in 80 days. Sit with your child with a globe and see what countries you would pass through on a trip around the world.Visit Mama Lisa's to hear children's songs from all the different countries. Enchanted Learning has printable flags for each country that your child can color.
Have some silly fun by naming the family car. Ask everyone to suggest a name. If you can’t decide which name is best, write the choices on a piece of paper, put the names in a hat, and choose one.
You can’t have a beautiful smile without having clean teeth. It is never too early to teach your child about good dental hygiene. Take your child to buy his or her very own toothbrush and toothpaste. If your child picks them out, he or she will be more likely to use them. Stand in front of the mirror, tooth brushes in hand, squeeze on the toothpaste, and brush away, side by side. Rinse, wipe, and show off those pearly whites.
