Antoine de St. Exupery, Crafts, June Activities, The Little Prince
JUNE 29 - Camera Day, Antoine Saint Exupery's Birthday
Hand your child an inexpensive camera, and send them exploring. It could be a back yard lion hunt, and exploration of the letter D, or silly pictures of the dog. Put all the pictures in a book, and have your child write down or tell you the story of each picture. Then, add the book to your library. It will become a bed time favorite.
French author and aviator Antoine St. Exupery brought us The Little Prince. Who can forget the image of the boa constrictor who swallowed an elephant? Or wondered what it's like to have your own planet? If you've never read this classic, you are never too old. You can preview the book online here: The Little Prince Then, run to the library to read the whole thing! Afterwords, enjoy these Coloring Pages
